Via Medicea uses the main social media to communicate with users through the network. The institutional channels are managed by a staff headed by the Municipality of Prato - Tourisme Service

Via Medicea channels are used to provide users with information about the path and to collect comments, questions and suggestions. The users' comments represent the opinion of individuals and not that of the municipal administration, which can not be held responsible for the truth or not of what is posted on the channels by third parties, legal or natural entities.
Via Medicea can share and re-launch contents and messages of public interest and utility created by third parties (other bodies, individuals or citizens). While verifying as much as possible accuracy and reliability, the administration assumes no responsibility for any incorrect or outdated information.

Replies

Each request is monitored and taken over. The aim is to reply to users' reports whenever possible or forward them to the competent subjects to find the most pertinent answer. Response times vary depending on the type of request.
This is guaranteed at least during the following office hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..

Moderation

Everyone has the right to take part in the discussions and express opinions. In the social networks of Via Medicea no preventive moderation is foreseen. However, comments that violate the conditions set out in this document will be removed.
In particular, these channels can not be used for posts and comments that are discriminatory or offensive to other users, whether or not present in the discussion, institutions, associations, companies or those who manage and moderate social channels, for no reason. Insults, foul language, threats or attitudes that harm personal dignity, the rights of minorities and minors, the principles of freedom and equality will not be tolerated. Content that violates copyright or the unauthorized use of registered trademarks is not permitted.
Moderation will also be applied to: comments that are off topic compared to the discussion of a specific post, comments or posts that present sensitive data, the interventions repeatedly inserted, comments and posts written to disturb the discussion or offend who manages and moderates social channels and spam.
For those who repeatedly violate these conditions or those contained in the policies of the adopted instruments, the staff reserves the right to use the ban or block to prevent further action and to eventually report the user to the relevant police forces.

Privacy

Please note that the processing of personal data of users will respond to the policies in use on the used platforms.
Sensitive data posted in comments or public posts in the Via Medicea social media channels will be removed (see the Moderation section). The data shared by users through private messages sent directly to the channel managers will be processed in compliance with Legislative Decree 196/2003 and EU Regulation 2016/679.
