Leonardo's Day on 19th April in Vinci is the great celebration dedicated to the most illustrious man of Vinci, on the occasion of his birthday (15th April 1452) with many scheduled events: the launch of the crown on his birthplace, living paintings, escape rooms, guided tours, exhibitions and the inevitable cutting of the cake.
The 2026 edition will focus on ingenuity, curiosity, passion, and method. For Leonardo, ingenuity is what first and foremost animates the mechanics of things… But ingenuity is also pure creativity: that flash of genius that ignites when you face an impossible problem. It's inventing ingenious solutions, initiating change with lateral thinking, transforming obstacles into opportunities—just as our Leonardo did in his secret codes.
