In Poggio a Caiano on the 16th, 17th and 18th of September is Siege! This is the historical re-enactment of the marriage of Joan of Austria with Francesco I dei Medici. The program includes: arrival of the Princess in a carriage, free distribution of wine from the fountain of the Mascherone, themed shows and entertainment, Renaissance games and dances, Renaissance market, the First Historical Games in honor of the Princess, guided tours with entertainment inside the Medici Villa, conferences, food stands and a space for young people. A dip in the Renaissance!
