What's up - Christmas in Prato

Prato is preparing to welcome Christmas with a series of events that will bring joy and fun to children and adults.

 

Lights, decorations and attractions that give life and kick-start the Christmas atmosphere are located throughout the historic center and surrounding areas. Christmas lights illuminate the streets, giving a warm and festive atmosphere. In particular, Piazza Santa Maria delle Carceri is animated by the horse carousel. Piazza Mercatale hosts the ferris wheel and the Lilliputian train crosses the streets of the centre.

 

There will be many fairs and markets with typical products where you can choose gifts and decorations, a perfect opportunity to discover local craftsmanship and traditional products, giving a touch of authenticity to Christmas gifts.

 

Numerous events are held, including the traditional New Year's concerts, the party spread across the center on New Year's Eve and the show "Due maledetti amici" by Giovanni Veronesi and Rocco Papaleo, etc.
