What's up - Infiorata of Fucecchio - 7th June

On Sunday 7th June, as tradition, the Infiorata (Flower Festival) of Fucecchio will be held. The streets of the city centre, on the occasion of Corpus Domini, are covered with thousands and thousands of petals of all colors which create magnificent paintings.
This year the Infiorata is dedicate to St. Francis.
the construction works of the flower carpets will begin on Saturday 6th June in the afternoon with the school children and will continue into the night with the real flower masters so as to be ready at first light on Sunday 7th June.
After the procession, the carpets will remain visible until the evening.
