What's up - Infiorata of Fucecchio - 22nd June

On Sunday 22nd June, as tradition, the Infiorata (Flower Festival) of Fucecchio will be held. The streets of the city centre, on the occasion of Corpus Domini, are covered with thousands and thousands of petals of all colors which create magnificent paintings.
This year the Theme is still Peace and each sketcher has declined it in his own way ...
the construction works of the flower carpets will begin on Saturday 21st June in the afternoon with the school children and will continue into the night with the real flower masters so as to be ready at first light on Sunday 11th June.
After the procession, the carpets will remain visible until the evening.
